It was a day to forget for our Fairfield-Liverpool 4th, who had to give best to Mosman 4th on a day that didn't go our way.

Mosman 4th batted first and reached 8/309 from 50 overs. Sam Wright posted 77 for the hosts, a classy fifty. Our opponents' best was a half-century from James Barwise, who made 66. Shalin Anam was the pick of our bowlers with four for 51. Shashank Setty finished with two for 54.

In reply, the side were all out for 118 in 30.5 overs. Ricky Shardul top-scored, making 45 off 64 balls. Harshit Reddy Naga was unbeaten on 22 off 29 balls.

It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around.

Thanks to the hosts for the contest.
