Saturday belonged to our Fairfield-Liverpool 5th, who got up against Penrith 5th on home soil.
Our totals were 8/168, against Penrith 5th's 10/167. Saqlain Haider passed fifty on the way to 67 off 157 balls with four fours. Patrick Lawrence remained unbeaten with 21 off 26 balls. Timothy Kennaugh did the damage for our opponents with four for 45.
Jackson Mitchell Puckeridge grabbed four for 25. Jarrad Burke backed up well, taking three for 36. Lachlan Hood made a classy 57 for the visitors, a well-deserved half-century.
It was a brilliant all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up. That makes it two wins in a row. Well done to everyone involved.
