It wasn't to be for our Fairfield-Liverpool T20, who were unable to get the better of Bankstown on a day to learn from.
We made 10/64, while Bankstown made 9/187. Luke Ohrynowsky led the way with 17 off 9 balls including two sixes. For our opponents, Samuel Grant took four for 9 off 2.4 overs.
Fifty for Riley Kingsell, who made 63 for the hosts. Luke Meek starred with the ball, taking three for 36. There were also wickets for Jai Long (two for 37).
Credit to our opponents, who played well.
Well played to the hosts.
