Despite a solid effort, our Fairfield-Liverpool CC were unable to stop Warringah in a disappointing result.
Fairfield-Liverpool CC 10/195, Warringah 4/306 was the final tally. Zach Dowthwaite made a stylish 131 not out for our opponents, a century worth applauding. Credit to Lachlan Coy, who made a century (127) for the hosts.
Anthony Bellach brought up a fine half-century, finishing with 61 off 85 balls. Aaron Vinoy added a useful 25 off 33 balls. For our opponents, Nixon Kolodzinski took three for 27 off nine overs.
There were some stylish individual efforts to build on. We take on Mt Pritchard Southern Districts next Saturday.
