It was a day to regroup for our Fairfield-Liverpool 1st, who went down against Randwick Petersham 1st despite Coby Holland's 73.
Randwick Petersham 1st made 3/289, and we made 287. A classy 73 off 116 balls from Coby Holland was the highlight. Jaydyn Simmons made an excellent 64 off 113 balls, a well-made fifty. Dhanvi Vemulapalli finished 33 not out off 76 balls. Param Uppal claimed four for 65 for our opponents. Jason Ralston claimed three for 55 for the hosts.
Credit to Eknoor Singh, who made a century (119) for our opponents.
There were some stylish individual efforts to build on.
Congratulations to the hosts on the win.
