On Saturday at Don Dawson, our Fairfield-Liverpool 3rd went down against UNSW 3rd.
We posted 8/173, while UNSW 3rd made 5/299. Deeptanshu rawat's 47 off 90 balls was the highlight with the bat. Don Dulaj Dasanayake bowled well for the visitors, taking four for 34.
Jack Newman grabbed two for 48. Hats off to George Baldwin, whose 112 not out was a stylish century for our opponents.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. The results haven't gone our way lately, but the group will keep at it.
Chins up, everyone.
