In NSW Premier Cricket (Men's), our Fairfield-Liverpool 5th fell short against Randwick Petersham 5th on a day to learn from.
We posted 241, while Randwick Petersham 5th made 7/243. A classy 85 off 134 balls from Chris Lawrence was the highlight. Jarrad Burke added a useful 36 off 80 balls. Ethan Ball was the pick of our opponents' bowlers with three for 43. Joshua Baldwin chipped in with three for 44 for the hosts.
Mason Burke picked up four for 59 off sixteen overs. Fifty for Massimo Di Paolo, who made 70 for our opponents.
There were some good individual efforts to build on.
Congratulations to the hosts on the win.
