There was no joy for our Fairfield-Liverpool CC, who were bested by Hawkesbury in one to put behind us.
With the bat, we made 10/153 and 10/28; Hawkesbury made 10/84 and 10/114. Liam Quigley batted well for 49 off 68 balls with six fours. Dale Walker played a handy knock of 38. The visitors' Angus McIntosh was the standout with the ball, taking six for 12.
A five-wicket haul to Aarav Darji, who finished with five for 25 off 10.5 overs. Yuvraj Ghotra bowled impressively for three for 10. Rajveer Singh made 39 for our opponents.
Credit to the visitors, who played well.
A tough stretch, and one the side will be determined to end. Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
