Our Fairfield-Liverpool Poidevin-Gray Shield side lost their match against Sydney at home.
We made 10/200, while Sydney made 8/208. Fifty for Hayden Forner, who made 67 for the visitors. The wickets were shared around, with Coby Holland taking three for 33. Yuva Nishchay also took two for 34. Hats off to Jaiveer Singh Dhanoa for three maidens in a T20 game.
A classy 57 off 74 balls from Luke Meek was the highlight. Dhanvi Vemulapalli remained unbeaten with 47 off 83 balls. Vansh Bhatia was the best of our opponents' bowlers, finishing with three for 24.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around. Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
