On Sunday at Old Kings Oval, our Fairfield-Liverpool PGs came up short against Parramatta by 38 runs.
Parramatta batted first and made 2/155 from 20 overs. Fifty for Blake Noorbergen, who made 83 not out for our opponents. The hosts' best was a half-century from Advith Boreddy, who made 52 not out.
In reply, we finished on 9/117 from 20 overs. Yash Deshmukh made a valuable 30 off 20 balls. Solid support came from Dhanvi Vemulapalli, who made 27. Damien Guild was the pick of our opponents' bowlers with four for 18.
Plenty to take out of this one.
