Our Fairfield-Liverpool Men's Kingsgrove Sports T20 came unstuck as they were unable to get the better of Randwick Petersham on home soil.
First up, we made 6/142 from 20 overs. Arjun Nair led the way with 47 off 24 balls with three fours and four sixes.
In reply, Randwick Petersham passed our total, finishing on 5/143 in 18.3 overs. Austin Waugh batted well for the visitors, making 37 off 35 balls. Eknoor Singh chipped in with 33 for our opponents. Liam Hatcher starred with the ball, taking three for 39. Jaiveer Singh Dhanoa bowled superbly for two for 30. Jai Long's spell included a maiden.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
The boys will be keen to bounce back.
