It was a disappointing outing for our Fairfield-Liverpool CC, who had to give best to Sutherland DCC.
Our innings: 10/110. Sutherland DCC's: 5/186. Partha Vijendra top-scored, making 27 off 110 balls. Ayaan Malek made 25 off 78 balls. Dean Parker bowled well for the hosts, taking four for 11.
Shreyash Mukherjee led the way with the ball, finishing with three for 23. Our opponents' best was a half-century from Jarvis Whyte, who made 55 not out.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with. It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around. The group will be keen to bounce back.
