It was a good day out for our Fairfield-Liverpool CC, who overcame Mosman CC in Male Metropolitan Cup.
We finished on 7/261, with Mosman CC on 10/222. Our opponents' best with the bat was Abhishek Rajadhyaksha, who made 49. Aayush Veturi weighed in with 44 for the hosts. Yuvraj Ghotra was the pick of our bowlers with two for 7. Syed Hussain added two for 34.
Mitchell Drinkwater posted a good hundred, making 118 not out off 128 balls. Jackson Mitchell Puckeridge remained unbeaten with 45 off 72 balls.
Contributions came from right through the line-up. That's our first win of the season on the board.
Well done to everyone involved.
