It was one to learn from for our Fairfield-Liverpool CC, who went down to Campbelltown Camden at Fairfield Oval.
Scores: Fairfield-Liverpool CC 10/119, Campbelltown Camden 8/269. Credit to Muhammad Faizan Khan, who made a century (111) for the visitors. Toby Schofield made a good 64 for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century. Anirudh Peravali was the pick of the bowlers, taking two for 33 off nine overs. JUNAID NIZAMUDDIN bowled cleverly for two for 35.
Ayaan Malek top-scored with 35 off 68 balls. Zayaan LaalDin bowled well for the visitors, taking three for 16.
Plenty to take out of this one. It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around. On to the next one.
