It was one to learn from for our Fairfield-Liverpool 4th, who went down against Hawkesbury 4th on a day that didn't go our way.
Hawkesbury 4th batted first and made 7/247 from 50 overs. Daman Brar made a fine 106 for our opponents, a century worth applauding. Jack Lehner was the pick of the bowlers, taking four for 35 off ten overs.
Our chase ended at 218 from 44.5 overs. Harshit Reddy Naga made a great 85 off 76 balls, a well-made fifty. Simon Charles played a handy knock of 34. Ryan Rajesh played a handy knock of 33. Isaac Baker was the main threat for the hosts, taking three for 25.
Thanks to our opponents for the contest.
