In NSW Premier Cricket (Men's), our Fairfield-Liverpool 4th were beaten by Bankstown 4th on a day that didn't go our way.
First up, Bankstown 4th made 5/112 from 20 overs. Credit to Ethan Prideaux, who made 40 for the visitors. Jehan Bilimoria made 30 for our opponents. Shuvayu Banerjee picked up two for 22 off four overs. There were also wickets for Daniel Manning (two for 26).
In reply, we finished on 9/96 from 20 overs. The top score came from Alvin Rajesh, who made 32 off 26 balls. The visitors' best with the ball was Prideaux (four for 17).
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again.
It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around. Thanks to our opponents for the contest.
