Our bowlers restricted Hawkesbury 3rd to 8/230 from 50 overs. Credit to Aryan Rodrigues, who made a half-century (56) for our opponents. Our best with the ball was Jack Newman, who took three for 51. There were also wickets for Alexander Gomez (two for 49).
In reply, the group reached the target at 8/231 in 47 overs. A classy 64 off 87 balls from Peter Pigadas was the highlight. Neel Rai's 51 off 49 balls was a half-century to remember. Santhosh Kumaran did the damage for the visitors with three for 70.
