It was a good day out for our Fairfield-Liverpool 3rd, who got the win against Bankstown 3rd at Don Dawson on Saturday.
Our total was 4/109; Bankstown 3rd's was 108. Benett Kattakayam top-scored with 36 off 26 balls. Ahan Vinod added a useful 28 off 46 balls.
Jack Ashburner batted well for the visitors, making 27 off 39 balls. Deeptanshu rawat was the pick of our bowlers with two for 13. Alvin Rajesh added two for 22.
A first win of the season, and hopefully the first of many. An excellent effort from the side.
