In NSW Premier Cricket (Men's) action, our Fairfield-Liverpool 2nd were undone by Sydney University 2nd on a frustrating day.
We batted first and finished with 7/171 on the board from 42 overs. A classy 65 not out off 128 balls from Nathan Glynn was the highlight. Darcy Manners was the main threat for Sydney University 2nd, taking three for 36.
In reply, the hosts passed our total, finishing on 1/172 in 24.2 overs. Edward Shand posted 79 for our opponents, a quality fifty.
Credit to the hosts, who played well.
Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
